Today is Day 3 of our Christmas Menu Series. These past days I’ve shared our appetiser and starter, in case you missed it!

After yesterday’s cosy Roasted Cauliflower & Apple Soup, today we’re moving on to a side dish that quietly steals the show every single time. You know the kind: simple, comforting, and somehow the first thing everyone goes back for seconds of.
As much as I love mashed potatoes, I think Celeriac or celery root brings a more elegant and festive side dish to our Christmas table. This Celeriac & Roasted Garlic Purée is my plant-based take on that classic.
Celeriac has this gentle, earthy flavour that pairs beautifully with roasted garlic. Add a touch of nutmeg, a little plant-based butter, and just enough milk to make it silky… and you’ve got a side dish that works with everything. It’s also another brilliant one to make ahead, which is very much the theme of this menu.
